The White Horse of Hermitage, Hermitage

The White Horse in Hermitage is a breath of fresh air in the area; it is a nice clean friendly pub with great service and food. I probably eat there once a month or so and the choice on offer is great not too much that you can�t decide but a good choice of steaks, fish, pasta and burgers. The best thing on offer there is the ribs; meat just falls off the bone and comes with great homemade BBQ sauce!!
I am a fan of this place mainly because the owners are very friendly the staff always look happy and are very helpful. In the last three years I have been going to the White Horse I have never seen any trouble, or even drunkenness. This is probably why the place is usually filled with women eating and the older gentlemen drinking their real ale! Best things about the White Horse apart from the friendly service is that they have peroni on tap, fantastic bangers & mash in the winter and a fantastic patio & garden for the summer.
All in all I wish there were more places like this around.
