This was my local for many a year.. Phil and Val ..Stan and Sheila .. was a great little pub back then. Sad to see its terrible decline. Wouldn't drink in there now.

Keep the SKYLARK open..it keeps all the gangster scum and drug dealers out of other pubs in the area. Wouldn't go in there for any amount of money. Anonymous comment was either sarcasm, or posted by the licensee!

The Rose and Crown, Erdington
Nice, family run pub. Gaffer doesnt stand any nonsense. Great for racing/football plenty of banter. Maybe a bit cliquey at times and a bit pricey. Tidy though.
