Often used to talk with friends about that Brigadoon of the pub world that combines great sports coverage, good real ale and a welcoming feel.

Then I moved to Abbeydale Rd area of Sheffield and there it was!

The Three Tuns, Dronfield

Recently moved into the area and this pub is a short stumble down the road so thought I'd give it a go for Sunday lunch. What a pleasent surprise...fantastic real ale from the landlords own Spire Brewery and a home made sunday lunch excelling in both value (£6), taste and size of portion

We also had our 16 month year old in tow and they were very friendly & accomodating to his needs (i.e. they heated his baby food in the mic for us and ignored his random shouting!)
