having juts bought a small hotel in blackpool close to lytham rd, i thought i would try thelocal pubs to see were i recommend to my guests. This is one of those places you either love or hate. Personally i didnt like the place, although the locals who seem to frequent it seem to love it . Defianatley a locals pub, not too welcoming for visitors

Old Bridge House, Blackpool

I've just movd to the area having bought a small hotel close to lytham rd so i thought i would try all the local pubs. Of the Lytham Rd pubs, i found this to be the best. They manage ti maintain the 'locals' atmosphere whilst being very friendly with visitors. Localsd really friendly. Not a real ale fan myself so cant comment on that - but nice friendly boozer! Good atmosphere at weekends.
