I heard that this had closed as half the customers were in the Walnut Tree moaning about it. Another victim of the credit crunch and end of an era for some regulars who could never see each other due to the lack of light apparently.

The Plough, Walthamstow
Went in last week and had some lovely Fullers Ale. Now seems to be Cask Marque as well which is good. Even better is the news that the Old Witch who I believe was married to one of the owners has been sent packing. Horrible woman was she, used to stand by the bar snarling at customers and was as miserable as sin. Still a great old place and even better with her gone!
