The Red Lion, Chipping Campden

Compared to other Camden village pubs and restaurants this was the best. The front of house offered a nice restaurant atmosphere with excellently ,tasty and well priced fare with a comfortable side room for drinkers. You can walk out to a nicely paved area at the rear of the pub with plenty of tables and there is also an additional converted barn which houses a small sports bar and pool table.

Friendly Staff ,sensible prices and good choice of beer, something for everyone here.

Eight Bells, Chipping Campden

Much more of a Restaurant than a pub. The Staff are friendlyand welcoming and a good selection of ales are kept well. A good pint of Hook Norton was supped. It felt a little crowded with the dining tables coming right up to the bar.?

The restaurant is popular ,but If you want to drink at the bar forget it? You will literally be standing between dining tables if there is more than 3 of you. There is a small covered patio and some garden seating. Dont know where you would drink if it rained?

The Lygon Arms Hotel, Chipping Campden

Sadly very dissappointed with this pub. looks nice from the outside (The picture shown is incorrect by the way )
We had popped in for an early evening sharpener. The pub was empty except for a large noisy TV on in the back room.for no one? Which seemed out of sorts with the old world charm of a Cotswolds Village The Hook Norton was dissappointing the staff confused when I asked about the beers and the prices were unbelievable. perhaps thats why it was empty on a Friday evening?
