Really good E.S.B. . Food very average , and why do the bar staff spend more time walking round the pub serving up meals , than actually serving beer . Why does the pub not install a tannoy telling customers their food is ready , they then in turn could come to the bar and collect their grub . Thereby leaving the bar staff much more time to serve other customers.

The Old Kings Head, Borough

An excellent pub . The bar staff are great especially Cy the barmaid .
there is always a good atmosphere , although it does get a little
crowded in happy hour [ 4 - 7 ] The Tribute is always well kept , as
are all the real ales. Greg the guv'nor gives the impression that he is a miserable old sod , but underneath he is a pussy cat . Good pub , good staff , good value.

The Royal Oak, Borough

RECENTLY HAD OUR CHRISTMAS PART HERE . ALTHOUGH THIS
PUB HAS NO FRILLS FOOD , AND THE SERVICE COULD BE
BETTER., THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB AND THE
PORTIONS WERE HUGE . A REALLY NICE FRIENDLY PUB . WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN FOR SOCIAL DRINKS.
