A good selection of ales on tap is usually to be found here. They've usually got rugby or football on, so it's not always the quietest place but still very civilised.

They keep a nice pint here, and mix a pretty good drink. I've never had the food, but since this is a beer website, I figure that shouldn't really matter.

The Royal Oak, Clapham North
This used to be one of my favourites, but it was recently expanded and has suffered considerably because of it. Seriously, the entire pub smells of sewage now. If they could sort that out it would be OK, but it is simply not viable now.
