I'm a real ale drinker from Lancashire and own and VW transporter with my hubby. We like to tour round Britain sampling local micro brewers and also the usual big brands. I can't say I have a favourite as the drink I'm drinking is usually that one! Hubby likes scrumpy as well as (boo hiss) the keg stuff

The Kildonan Hotel, Kildonan
this is a fabulous bar and hotel on the beach on the South of Arran. Monday nights are music nights and have a gr8 atmosphere. Dogs are welcome in the bar area too. Beer - usual suspects Guinness is spot on and the Arran ales in bottles are pretty decent. The whiskey selection is superb as is the vodka - absolut with all different flavourings went down a treat! Food very good too. Highly recommended.
