The Loaded Dog, Leytonstone

Further to my earlier comments, the live music at the "dog" continues to evolve. It's in the middle of a tribute bands season.

Yeah, I groaned at first. Last night I went to hear a tribute band to Deep Purple and was surprised at the quality, not to say the volume. Tributes already arranged include, The Who, AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Santana. If these are as good as the Deep Purple tribute I shall be well pleased.

The Loaded Dog, Leytonstone

When this old London pub was renovated/rescued I eagerly anticipated the reopening. I was not dissapointed. Its run by a freindly couple from the colonies who instinctively make you welcome. The music is great, the staff are beautiful and skillful and the whole place is designed as a place to relax and have fun. The toilets re kept clean and the the Adnams near perfection.

They also serve a wicked espresso and a range of rudely named cocktails.

If you like live music, Jazz, Rock n Roll, or any kinda good up-an-coming bands you quickly make the Dog your local.
