Mount Ambrose Inn, Mount Ambrose

A st austells owned pub very proud of its award, thecommunity pub of the year 07.It has a very homely feel to it and has alot of tropheys scattered around the pub.The tribute and hsd was of fine quality.

The Two Mile Oak, Abbotskerswell

Quite a good old pub this on the main road between newton abbot and totnes. This is a pub ive wanted to call into for many years, and finally i got the chance to.Its very old indeed with a very old musky smell to it,the second you walk through the door you notice it.Serving Bass and otter ale the ale quality is very good.Food prices are silly really, but people will pay the prices as it seems to be where buisness folk like to meet up.The old sign outside painted on the wall says famous for food,it may well be but sadly overpriced for what you get in my opinion but a superb drinking pub none the less.
