The Carpenter's Arms, Hammersmith

Great gastropub. Had a superb meal there last night. Food was excellent and reasonably priced; the staff were friendly and accommodating. Only point to note is the Carpenter's is more restaurant than pub, esp. in evenings. Well worth the visit, and one I think I will be repeating often.

The Bridge Inn, Upper Woodford

Superb location, friendly staff, food was superb, great atmosphere. Loved it! The staff mentioned that the pub changed hands two months ago so for those disappointed in the past give it another go, you will be pleasantly surprised.
