The Black Horse Inn, Amberley

Great food - I had a homemade veggie burger and it was the best I've ever had. My boyfriend had panfried duck with sweet potato puree which was delicious. Ignore the chocolate brownie at your peril - it comes with homemade vanilla ice cream and is heavenly. The staff are really friendly, the atmosphere is very comfortable, and the views are out of this world! There is no car park, but there's about 2000 acres of common and you can park on the edge of that. . You may not find it easily, but once you do, you won't foget it. Definately a hidden gem.
