The Prince of Wales, Brixton

I've been to the Prince Of Wales a number of times as I live fairly nearby. Their Tuesday offer of half price steak and burger was the main reason for stopping by, but I have to say that although relatively pricey, the food they serve is great. The one time I had the steak and ale pie there I swore I'd never have another pie again should I risk it blighting that fantastic experience. It's just a shame that the staff can be somewhat inconsistent with their quality of service.

The place has recently been refurbished and is a decent enough place for a quick drink or perhaps somewhere late at night when you don't fancy going to a club. The beer both in selection and quality isn't particularly great, so if that's your proviso, you might be better off trying elsewhere.
