Ye Olde White Bear, Hampstead

Since the refurbishment this pub is more of a restaurant than a pub. The set tables, table service and �ber cool chill out lounge music are a stark contrast to what used to be a welcoming homely pub. I felt quite uneasy coming in just for a drink. The staff were polite but hovered, adding to the somewhat weird atmosphere. The food menu looked nice and simple but rather quite pricey. I don't think it is the type of place you can pop in for a drink ...not unless you are planning to eat. Hampstead has lost one of its best pubs...
