The Hen and Chicken, Upper Froyle

We held our daughter's baptism at the Hen & Chicken establishment on Sunday, which thirty of my family and friends attended. Apart from supplying them with the food request's they organised the rest. When I arrived I was so impressed with the room decorations balloons, daisies on the tables because my daughters middle name is daisy and even providing colouring books for the children and much more. They'd taken it upon themselves to do this, which helped to make our day special. The food was soooo tasty! We had ordered the Sunday lunch of beef or lamb and my beef was mouth watering. The carrot & coriander soup was the best soup I�d ever tasted. Everyone of my guest's thanked me and said they enjoyed the food too. The service was fantastic very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend this pub.
