New Management - yet again - so we decided to try the venue again. When entering the pub at 12.45pm we were advised that we would not be served until 1.30pm as the Rugby Club who had a party booking had arrived one hour late. I advised the staff that in that case it was they who should wait not us but however they were not in agreement. We can only hope for the sake of the new management that the Rugby Club will become regulars as I don't think we will.
At some time we may well give this venue one last shot but sadly since Marion left some 5 years + ago this once very dependable venue that served first class food, promptly in a busy pub with a good atmosphere and friendly and happy staff HAS LOST ITS WAY.
