North Star, Staines

Proper pub nowadays. Like others on here I stopped coming to the Star because the last landlord let it go but its a decent boozer these days. First thing I noticed was that the pub is nice and bright, its clean and no longer stinks. I went to watch the first England game last week and have been in a couple of times now. I would say this pub is better than it has been for years now. My only complaint is that the England scores were a bit of a let down but you can't have it all I suppose :-)
