The Old Fisherman, Shabbington

Terrible meal at this pub on Sunday 12th June 2011. Sent back the fish as it was swimming in butter and covered in salt to such an extent that you couldn't taste the Sole. Although I was offered another option, I think this was maybe worse - overcooked soggy Plaice, the bone was impossible to remove and the whole dish collapsed - prawns had been boiled and this was tastless and the vegetables a disgrace as they were also soggy and colourless - this time I was ignored by the 'hostess' who probably knew herself how bad it was but then chose to argue with me that she and the chef had both tasted the dishes and said that they were fine and still charged �13 for an inedible lunch.

We won't be going back and suggest you don't go either.
