The Rocket, Euston

This pub used to be a complete hell hole and one I used to fear and steer clear of if I'm honest. Ordinarily, being dragged along to watch footy would NOT be my idea of fun, particularly to a pub which didn't have the best reputation and also because of the impression previous comments on here left me with!
As someone eager to please my giant of a hubby I thought there wouldn't be any harm in grabbing a quick drink and then heading home for the comfort of the couch...
So we entered the Rocket! What a difference a few months make! Unless the fairy pubmother had come along and waved her magic wand over the place, something had drastically changed!!! I was impressed that as soon as we walked in there was a really warm atmosphere, the bar staff were just lovely and the place was nice and clean and very welcoming. In short, we had a terrific night! We stayed there for the entire evening and couldn't have had a better time!
I would recommend this pub to anyone man enough to give a pub a second chance! We're going back tonight - hope to see you there!
