The Horseshoes, Beccles

Awkward little pub. Feels like you're sitting in the owner's lounge. The 'regulars' stared at us as we walked in. Weird selection of food (cold meat platters and escargots!) and even stranger toilets!! Not very clean.

The Waveney House Hotel, Beccles

The waveney house hotel is nice. There is a good selection of curries and typical hotel/pub food for example burgers, lasagne etc. I'd say that the decor is just a little bit dated and tired looking though. The food is decent value for money.
