The Bear and Ragged Staff, Crayford

This is primarily a live music venue featuring good talented local bands which is great if you are a live music fan as i am. However the management leaves a lot to be desired. I was at the venue on Friday 20th May listening to a really good band called State of Mind when half way through one of their numbers the manager thrust a mobile phone in the face of the lead singer and told him to talk to the agent!!! Apparently the management thought the band were doing too many slow numbers. This is by far the rudest thing that I have ever seen at a live gig and the irony is that most of the people were really enjoying the music. Great live music venue but I would not go back there if this is the way the management treat their bands.
