The Boatman, Guildford
this used to be a beautiul pub.
However, yesterday went for lunch, which we waited for 45 minutes for. To be served a steak ( charged at �13) which was no better than stewing steak served with a dull salad and chips.
This place has sadly lost its charm, with black wooden railings put on the border of the river for the sake of health and safety, this place is no longer the beautiful retreat by the river it once was.
