The Pigs Ear, Chelsea

Several pints of splendid, if expensive, Deuchars IPA lubricated a great afternoon and evening last Sunday. Light and airy place got progressively busier as the evening progressed, quite a mixed crowd of age and nationality in a Chelsea sort of way. High quality snacks (Burt's crisps, mixed nuts, olives) have a high price tag. Gastropub food looked really good but again requires a healthily filled wallet. Service was fine. Definitely worth a punt if you're in the King's Road area (who needs Henry J Bean and all that?) and are not on a budget
