The Cadeleigh Arms, Cadeleigh

Visited this pub with friends had a beautiful meal sat near the open inglenock fire. Fall of locals and people who live of the local area. Venison stew a must. Beer prices good, believe they do real ales although I don't drink it myself. The road up to this pub is very steep would not like to walk it. Car takes its self home down hill. need to watch on very sharp bends.

The Fisherman's Cot, Bickleigh

Stayed in the fishermans cot twice have friends who live in Bickleigh. Beautiful rooms on both occasions oak beamed, views of the river, tea making facilities.
Falling to sleep to the sounds of the river flowing is extremely relaxing. Food was good, breakfast quite substantial. Had a carvery meal one night also good food, Beer okay, prices not to bad. Beer garden excellent. watch the children near the river no fence. The new gazebo'd areas quite a quaint idea although does spoil the view. Also lots of mossies, but what do you expect by a river. Would go back and stay again.

The Pitcher and Piano, Soho

visited this pub last weekend in a party of people liked the idea that you can reserve an area of the pub for a group at no costs. Bit pricey, food not bad although menu a bit limited. Did not like the idea of not paying for your drinks etc as you go along it is very easy to run up a big bill and not realise what you are spending. We were also miffed by the barman bring us our bill at 10.50pm as the pub closes at 11.00 pm early night for us. Also check your bill when you get it we found items added that we had not ordered. Looked like we were paying someone elses bill.
