The Prince, Stoke Newington

Its a gastropub. What price quality - there is very little of quality food in stoke newington, this has it - although it is patchy. Its irritating to come here for a beer, but if you're hungry its the best place in the neighbourhood. If you fancy a beer, then go to the rose, defoe, tup or londesborough.
Staff are great, service is OK. This place has huge potential.

The Rose and Crown, Stoke Newington

brilliant decor - classic unchanged 1920's decor, panelling and other 1920's details. Beers are good, not great, food is well above average on a sunday. One of the best pub in the area.
