The Highlands Inn, Ridgewood

Used to use this pub a lot when I lived in Uckfield and was looking forward to visiting it again.
Sadly it was ruined by people who like to yell and screech instead of talk, and it being a nice evening, the tables outside had their fair share of them too.
Adlittedly it was quite busy, so they must be doing something right, but the average age of the customers appeared to be under 25.
I can cope with that, but shrieking and bellowing is where I draw the line.
Revving your modified Golf in the car park and demonstrating the decibel level of you sub woofer might be your idea of a nice evening out, but it alienates people who only wanted some food, a few beers and a chat with friends.
