The Barge Inn, Honeystreet

Just returned from a fantastic weekend here. The camp site is in beautiful settings, the pub was clean, welcoming and the food and beer fantastic. One of the friendliest pubs I have been to and the staff couldn't do enough to help.

The George, Finchdean

Having no axe to grind and no grievance against anyone, I am here to give a nice honest opinion.
I read the previous negative comments before deciding to come but because I was in the area anyway I thought we�d give the place a go.
I entered a clean but cosy pub that allowed dogs. That pleased me because it gave the impression of a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. After my first drink I moved to a conservatory area which was light and airy and had a lovely view of the garden.
I ordered apple mash, pork medallions and garlic and cider sauce - it was amazing!
We didn�t stay for dessert but we are planning a trip back very soon with the whole family, well worth the drive out!
