The Waterway, Maida Vale

Slightly pretentious clientele sometimes, but hard to beat it on a summer afternoon out next to the canal. A beautiful setting. Not the greatest selection of Beers but the food is quite good.

The Greenwich Union, Greenwich

Brilliant pub. Excellent Selection of Greenwich Brewed beers, friendly staff, well diverse clientele. Students, Professionals, Family, Old Men, Loners and Posers. Certainly not bothered by any non-locals - I'm from the other side!
Regularly make a very long detour to sup on my favourite beer "Union".
Quality Beer, Quality People, Quality Atmosphere.
Ignore the negative reviews and form your own opinion - you'll either love it, or it won't spin your wheels. Nothing to dislike though.
