Six Bells, Bearsden

This pub is brilliant since it was taken over by the new owners. The only downside are the stairs to the restaurant upstairs which is a problem if you are disabled. You can eat downstairs if you want. The food is fantastic whether eating upstairs or downstairs and I would recommend the steaks and if you are having a steak you must have one of the chef's own sauces (the Diane sauce is my particular favourite) but the other ones are just as fantastic. Once you have eaten your fill you can go downstairs and be entertained by the landlord or one of the acts he brings in to entertain everyone. All in all a pub not to be missed.

The Glen Lusset, Old Kilpatrick

I was very disappointed in this pub/restaurant. I tried to take my mum out for a meal as it was her birthday (6/12/07)and we ended up walking out because the food was going to take about 45 mins to make because they had a table of 12 in. What kind of restaurant cannot do a cover of 12 and still keep other people served? They have a lot of tables in this establishment but what's the point if they cannot cope?
