The White Horse Inn, Boughton-Under-Blean

A beautiful pub in idyllic surroundings but not just the beer left a foul taste in my mouth.

Having been served flat Asahi (premium lager!!?) I was then verbally abused and physically intimidated by the landlord.

Strongly recommend you avoid this pub and visit the beautiful pub, The Queens Head, just up the road.

The Racehorse, Catworth

We stopped at the Racehorse on 4th May 2007 on our way to a wedding in Wales (we're from kent). My wife and i were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of service we received.

We stayed in the converted stables which were lovely and had the pleasure of a carvery for our meal. The local beer was a pleasant change from Shepheard Neame and all the staff were courteous and efficient.

We very much hope to stay again some day soon
