The Abergavenny Arms Hotel, Frant
Great service, friendly bartender and hearty English breakfast at sparrow's fart, no less. Loads of charm and very modern bathrooms (especially as I'm a Yank and this is in England). Only caveat, watch your head on the low beams. They musta been short in the 15th century. Definitely worth the 53 pounds for a comfy bed and that big breakfast.
