The Red Lion, Southampton

I'm not from Southampton originaly, but I do like history, and good beer. I have not eaten here, but for oldie worldie a trip back in history, I would highly recommend it.. Take a look at the fireplace it is huge and to think that Henry V was here and went out to beat the froggies wow! Froggies not meant derogative. It is original and was missed by the German bombers, thank god, (I lived in Germany for 26 Years)Some of my German friends have quaffed here and enjoyed it and also said that it was good that it wasn't damaged. If you are interested just take a trip there, it's worth it.
