The Crimea Inn, Aldershot

This is by far the best pub in Aldershot, New owner's have done a great job referb makes the pub look homely. I visit this pub about 4 afternoon's a week with my kids who are 1 year and 4 months for lunch and i do have to say the food is second to none cooked from" scratch" by the landlady. Friday kareoke is hosted by the Rainbow (biggest name round here). I couldn't reccomend the crimea any more. Try it for your self you wont be dissapointed..

Royal Staff, Aldershot

Having read the comment's on this pub i couldn't disagree more. I have drank in this pub 3-4 times in the afternoon with my family and friends due to the bouncy castle which the kids love. I'm sorry to say this is the only thing the pub has going for it. the beer is over priced 3.40 a pint, the local's are not too welcome to " outsider's". The bar staff (owners) are to busy doing there own thing you'll wait 5 minuites to be served. To top that all of you'll have to contend with a great big boxer dog who has the run of the pub "i left with slobber all down my leg". My children were petrified of it and after asking twice i was told "the dog is fine with kids" hence why they would not remove the dog. If your in this area i'd highly reccomend The Crimea just down the hill (2 mins away) the food is second to none, beer's cheaper and better, huge beer garden, very warm welcome by the staff and no slobbering dog's. Oh and to top that off they have a brilliant kareoke on friday night hosted by profestional's not like the royal staff who's put on by the old landlady (who's the only singer). Hope you take my advice and avoid this place and not listen to the other reviews which are oviously written by the local's.. Was a great place when John Kenny had this pub what a shame it's gone so down hill
