Longs Wine Bar and Bistro / Jazz Cellar, Lymington

I used to drink here 10 years ago and loved it then. I am still a customer to this day and still love going down there. Truth is, they had to change the format of the place as the jazz, other live bands and ales were starting to become less and less popular - being a regular you could see the difference from one year to another. It's depressing when there's only 8 people in the entire place watching a band!

Sure, you could go to a big nightclub 20 miles away in Southampton or Bournemouth, spend �4.50 for a drink, then share a �50 taxi ride home but give the staff of Longs some credit - they are very dedicated and give their all to make sure people who make the effort to come down have a good, fun and safe night. My friends and I love the DJ on Saturday nights :)
