The Shoulder of Mutton, Playhatch

A real pub serving real food. We had a very pleasant Wednesday evening in The Shoulder Of Mutton. My girlfriend and I ordered sea food between the sheets and modern mutton shepherds pie which arrived in a timely manor served by a young but knowledgeable waitress . I thoroughly enjoyed my seafood lasagne and out of interest tried my girlfriends mutton pie thinking I wouldn't like it as I didn't really like lamb, at that point I was instantly converted, I never realised mutton could be so tender and tasty, well done chef.
By the time we left, the pub was full. We will definitely be making a return visit the next time we are in the area.
