The White Hart Inn, Colyford

Made several visits during July '07, sometimes just for a pint or two and sometimes for a meal as well. A very friendly pub with excellent ales, both local and from afar, all kept in superb condition. Tried a steak one evening and was able to congratulate mine hosts on the best steak I'd eaten anywhere for a long time.

Ship Inn, Axmouth

We were there for an evening meal and a beer or two whilst on holiday in the area in July 2007. Pub was quite busy, particularly in the dining room however service was good, meal was unexceptional but good value for money and the pint was well up to scratch. No complaints from me !

The Amberwood Inn, Walkford

I made two lunch-time visits recently; one to 'suss' the place out prior to a planned later visit with in-laws followed a week later by the planned visit. On both occasions I was much impressed by the quality of the meals, the welcome of the staff and the real ale from Hall & Woodhouse. Not that I could drink much of it as I had to drive home afterwards. Will definately go there again.
