The Tulse Hill Tavern, Tulse Hill

Ok so I'be been away for a while. just two short years. I've been in this pub recently and what a difference. Not a good thing. Two years ago I used to go in with my mates of an afternoon and stay till we couldn't drink anymore. The landlord was a great guy from yorkshire. His missus was a lady from New Zealand, and she fed us, cleaned the loos for us, and they spent time with us, played pool with us, put on live music for us and the customers. They thanked their customers for their custom with everything they did for the pub. They transformed the garden and were just good pub people. You wanted to go in, and the weirdos were great. The landlord and his missus put frebies on the juke box and just looked after you. Now, its dirty, the loos (ladies) are gross, the garden is not what it was, the bar staff are rude and don't acknowledge you. The landlady doesn't seem to want any custom. I still pop in cause I live across the road, but its just for that first quickie. Then I go to the railway or the white hart, or into town.
Avoid. Its no fun anymore.
