The Pigs Ear, Chelsea

Having appeared to spend a fortune on the refurbishment/decor, the furniture is uncomfortable and resembles a classroom/students union! The staff are incredibly slow and can be rude - it is not as they are even busy. I saw a member of bar staff testing a cocktail with a straw and then serving the drink that same 'sucked-on' straw. The menu is pretentious and tries too hard. All-in-all not my favourite, as you may be able to tell - the old Front Page needed a rethink but I can't see this new incarnation lasting long!
