Naff location right next to the IDR, loudish music but the ale was fine and very cheap.
On balance, nothing particularly special but nice to see a pub with cheap ale.

Nice welcome, reasonable food and beer.
This was included on the Reading beer festival ale trail.

The Victoria, Bayswater
Amazing that a pub so close to a mainline station can be this good.
Always seems busy and the upstairs (as previously noted) is a treat to look at.
The beer was great but we ate there and all agreed the menu and the food they brought us was spot on too.
