The George and Dragon, Burpham

I drove from portsmouth with 5 friends for lunch here and we left 2 hours later after a stunning afternoon of great food and service. They even made a dessert we had seen on the website that wasnt currently on the menu for us because it looked so gorgeous. We had the mezze platter with warm chorizo to start and it was yummy. Then we had the homemade burgers, fish and chips, risotto (absolutely delicious) and other dishes followed by 3 puddings we shared. My friend worked her way through all the Sussex ales on offer and sadi they were all great... couldnt fault the welcome, the service, the lovely log fires which made it so homely. We rolled out satiated and smiling. Highly recommended and a gorgeous drive in the country too!
