The Commercial, Herne Hill

Have lived in Herne Hill for many years now and remember when The Commercial changed from local to gastro pub.

It's never been great but now it seems to be on it's way out. The pub is always dirty, the staff are usually very unhappy and the toilets are often filthy.

They have now employed a new "chef" who will cook anything for you as long as you like it burnt to a crisp and can wait 2 hours.

Strongly suggest going to the Moon (lovely pizza) or even the Florence (food that wont make you laugh when you see it).

To be avoided.
