Black Horse Inn, Chesham Vale

It has become very expensive, eg soup �5.25 and the ham and eggs price is ridiculous. Meanwhile fish and chips is about �12.00 with a miserly piece of steak at about �14.00. As for drinks, a pint of lager was�3.75

I had chicken pie, modest in size, that was delivered with the pastry smothered in dark gravy. By contract the vegitables were bland but excessive in quantity.

We were a party of 8 and paid �212 for our evening out comprisng 7 starters,8 main courses and 4 deserts. Everyone had 2 drinks.

If my wife and I had gone there alone and studied the menu we would have left hastily for another venue.

This is not the the pub of old and we shant be going there again.
