The Carpenters Arms, Harpenden
Recently moved to suburbia and was made to feel extremely welcome. Bar staff efficient and chatty. Good of a summers evening in the garden and about average pricewise. Best pub in Southdown. It can get busy as it's not the biggest but they acknowledge your wait which is always polite.
