The Raven, Stamford Brook

Nice place, decent big screen to watch the sport on but out the back is very shabby. The sofas in the covered outside bit are falling to pieces and very dirty. Garden is ok but small. Not bad all in all.

You cant beat the �5.50 pizza + drink deal. Best pizzas you'll find anywhere in Stratford without a doubt! Lively, vibrant atmosphere most of the time and a good quiz on wednesday nights.

Embargo (or No. 1 as its known now) isnt that much of a bad pub - theyve got Becks on tap at the moment, no real ales though unless Worthingtons is your thing. Not too sure about the new design/layout though but still vibrant and friendly on a friday night. Need to shut the damn door though, it gets freezing.
