The Cross Guns, Avoncliff

found the cross guns again after along time and it is still a wonderful as i remember beautiful setting with a garden right on the river. very very charming inside the public house very well mannered staff it was a nice suprise as some pubs i have visited you just get a grunt out of the staff. The food was very nice and quite quick as it was a sunday and very busy well done to you all and keep it up i will be back with the rest of the family next time.

The Inn at Freshford, Freshford

Had a great night at the inn on tuesday night. They have started doing live music now and it was wonderful beer as always top of its class from Box Brewery and i also had a nice pint of Lilly's apple and pears very very nice. just looking forward to thursday now when we get more live music at the inn

The Inn at Freshford, Freshford

i have just left the inn at freshford an may i say that the front of house staff were very helpful as i was a bit lost.

i sayed for a drink or two and they do have some wonderful beers from the box steam brewery which i have been hearing so much about and all good i must say.

the food that i had with my daughter was beautiful and not a long wait for it she had a pannie and i had sausage and mash witch was brilliant.
