I like good country pubs.
Although I am generally a Guinnes drinker, I do like to try different ales from time to time.

This pub is still not a patch on what it was about 5 years ago. Beer choice is ok,price and quality reasonable but the whole place needs something more than it currently offers. oh and the hand drier in the Gents still doesn't work.

Visit this pub on a fairly regular basis now.Always made welcome by both the staff and regulars. The beer is always in excellent condition which for me is top requirement but also the food is reasonably priced and very good.
Well worh a visit.

I have to agree with previous posts that this pub provides good beer, well kept and I have always found that to be true on the 2 visits I make each year at the end of a day on the Mid Hants.
Was there on Friday, no different apart from the bloke openly snorting his stuff in the gents. Will not be going back unless the druggies have been cleared out .
Hope the owners make more careful checks with regard to what is going on on in their premises.
