The George And Dragon, Acton

A historic pub with a shiny new 9 barrel brewery in the back room. The ales were on top form, real cider on hand pump. Also a good range of craft beers for those who like bubbles. There is a list of the landlords going back 250 years in the front bar. The night I visited there was a band on if you sat in the wood panelled middle bar you could hear the music without needing ear defenders. A great place for a pint, you even have to cross the courtyard (now roofed over) to get to the gents what could be more traditional than that?
