Royal Oak, New Ash Green

I used to frequent this pub at it was one of my locals and it can get lively at times - particularly on a Friday night - with younger drinkers looking to enjoy their weekend. The atmosphere is friendly and the family who own it are more than welcoming. Due to the location unfortunately there is the odd unsavoury character, but the staff there always do their best to prevent this from becoming an issue. Although I do not live in this area anymore I still visit occasionally because I like the people and the pub.

The Ship, Cobham

This is a casual pub, with reasonably priced food that is served quickly. It's a great local pub and a good place to come for an informal dinner with a friend, partner or with a group of people. My girlfriend and I have visited quite a few times over the last couple of years and will continue to do so if there are no drastic changes.
