Anonymous 12 April!!!!!! Finally, someone sees the point of the refurb! It was done to get rid of the undesireable people, i'm sure you are one of them. I agree with george2006. The refurb is great, the garden is lovely, the food is awesome and there are finally some women in the place. I spoke to the manager and he said the takings are more, on average every week, than the best week ever of The Cottage before the refurb. Looks like someone knew what they were doing. What do you say to that?????

I have been a regular at the cottage for many years. It has become nice place to be. I am horrified by the comments about the service! What do you expect when two hundred people walk through the door in twenty minutes. I was in the pub before and after the Man City game. They had 4 staff on, which was alot considering the size of the bar! It just seems to me that there is no pleasing some people. Back street boozers are a thing of the past and the sooner people realise this and get on with their live and stop complaining the better! I like The Cottage, if you don't, stop going there so the place isn't full of miserable people dragging the good atmosphere down!!!
